Dubai, 16 June 2016 - Linde Gas Turkey, part of the Linde Group, a leading global industrial gas and engineering company, has invested in a MiX Telematics fleet management solution in order to increase the road safety of their heavy vehicles along with enhancing positive driver behaviour. Turker JMT, a MiX Telematics partner in Turkey, will implement the fleet management solution into 129 of Linde’s fleet vehicles.

Linde Gas required a solution that would enable them to comply with the highest standard of road safety. Since they transport hazardous material such as liquid gas, helium and tube gas -travelling nearly 11 million kilometres yearly to all regions of Turkey - they wanted a system that would allow them to promote a safe driving culture within their organisation.

The IVMS, locally known as SGS (Sürücü Geliştirme Sistemi), provides extensive driver and vehicle management functionality through an on-board computer and online tracking portal. The derived data allows Linde Gas to use the actionable intelligence to mitigate risk and increase safety.
MiX Vision is an in-cab video solution that includes two cameras, which automatically trigger the upload of two videos when an incident occurs: one showing the driver and one showing the road. The videos include trip and event information as well as the date, time, vehicle speed and RPM at the time of the incident. This assists with driver behaviour monitoring as well as accident analysis.
