Micronet is providing its fixed, in-cab, TREQ 317 rugged Android tablet for use with MiX by Powerfleet’ next generation MiX Rovi in-cab display. The device has been developed to provide a durable, easy-to-use solution for fleet managers to record hours of service and remote tachograph data, and to respond to the upcoming ELD mandate requirements.
“We are pleased to have this opportunity to work with MiX by Powerfleet. MiX by Powerfleet enjoys a strong reputation for its high quality portfolio of solutions for fleet operators, and we believe our tablet is an excellent match for their new display,” says Shai Lustgarten, Micronet Chief Executive Officer. “As regulations related to the use of electronic logging devices become more stringent, we believe our ability to provide a durable, reliable in-cab device will create new opportunities for us to partner with others in the industry to offer effective solutions to fleet operators worldwide.”
“Having adopted Android as the development platform for our latest in-cab driver tablet, we sought the right hardware partner to supply us with rugged, high quality products and infrastructure to support our development efforts,” says Catherine Lewis, Executive Vice President of Technology at MiX by Powerfleet. “We believe that Micronet has the right products, roadmap and partner focus to support the innovation that we strive for, and we look forward to a long-lasting relationship with them.”
