The discussion and presentation offer an in-depth look at emerging detection technology as a potential means to prevent fatigue-related incidents. According to the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), technology designed to detect driver fatigue has been available for some time, but adoption has been slow.
“MiX by Powerfleet’s fleet management solutions have proven safety, efficiency and compliance benefits. Through continuous improvement in driver behavior, our customers have achieved significant reductions in accident rates and fuel costs. At the same time, the technology enables operators to comply with all mandated regulatory requirements,” says Kinford.
Among other business verticals, MiX by Powerfleet has worked within the oil and gas industry for over a decade and has the privilege of partnering with industry leaders such Baker Hughes, Basic Energy, Chevron and many others.
“We look forward to connecting with our current clients at the show as well as to establishing relationships with other industry experts and prospective clients in the region,” concludes Kinford.
MiX by Powerfleet can be visited at Booth #3 at the SPE E&P Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental Conference - Americas.
