MiX Telematics installed their main solution MiX Fleet Manager and added on MiX DriveMate, RIBAS and a tracking solution. Drivers were helped through implementation with a related workshop. With all of these solutions, they could now collect vehicle and driver data, identify bad driving habits and analyse behaviours with in-depth reporting. This information was then used by Dreams as part of their driver engagement programme that gives drivers with the best scores rewards to serve as motivation. The tracking solution makes it much easier for Dreams to locate their trailers and trucks at all times, and improves retrieval rate in case of theft.

Within 6 months of implementation, Dreams started seeing results. Driver scores improved from 81.70 to 96.46 (the maximum score is 100). Drivers are now more willing to drive safely after their reward programme was linked to MiX Telematics’ driver scoring solutions. They can be held more accountable for their actions on the road, lowering the risk of crashes and improving fleet safety.
